~WARM HEARTS 2005~

 ~YOU ARE AMAZING~
 


 
 
I thought after last year, (170+ coats) we couldn't possible be fortunate enough to put new jackets on more children.  Well, YOU DID IT! 180 coats were given out on a very special day. Vanessa's birth day, December 28th.  I hope you realize how very special each and every one of your are.  You made an impossible time of the year for us more tolerable and certainly very happy and special for the children and their parents.  It always amazes me how the children love to walk out holding their new coats on hangers with the tags swinging.  It is a beautiful site.

I was fortunate to come in contact with someone who donated 30 brand new toys this year.  After the coats were distributed we held a raffle for the toys.  You can imagine the smiles on the children's faces when they walked out not only with a new warm coat but a toy as well.  Also donated were about 70 very gently used coats for adults and children.  There were many hugs and smiles and many thank you's from both the children and their parents.  
 



 
 


 
 

Our heartfelt thanks to all of you for your continued support for the coat drive in memory of Vanessa.  You are all amazing and very special.  Thank you!!!!!!
