The Aristocats The Aristocats is a Dinsney movie, originally released in 1970, but was re-released a few years ago.
The Cat in the Hat The book Cat in the Hat is a favorite among Dr.Seuss readers, and will be made into a movie starring Mike Myers.
The Cheshire Cat The Cheshire cat is most remembered from the book Alice in Wonderland and Disney also made a movie based on the book.
Felix the Cat Felix the Cat debuted on screen in 1919 and until Mickey Mouse, he was the most popular cartoon character.
Figaro Figaro the kitten is Gepetto's pet from the book and Disney remake, Pinicchio.
Garfield Garfield was created by Jim Davis in 1978. His passions are eating, sleeping, and his teddy bear Pooky. Later, Garfield was made into an animated cartoon.
Heathcliff Heathcliff was both a comic strip and an animated cartoon. The cartoon ran in 1984, and it starred Heathcliff and his pal Marmaduke.
Lucifer Lucifer makes his appearance in the book and movie Cinderella. He is Cinderella's evil step-mother's cat, and no mouse is safe around him!

Sylvester Sylvester was created in March of 1945 by Friz Freleng. His first TV short was called Life with Feathers. Sylvester is most popularly known for his antics trying to capture the bird Tweety in the Loony Toons Cartoons.
Tom & Jerry Tom and Jerry was created in 1940. The shorts, which now run on Cartoon Network, had thirteen Academy Awards Nominations, and out of those thirteen, won seven. New shorts stopped being made in 1958.
