Days Remaining In Year (Countdown) ~ Tested in IE6.0, Netscape8.1, Opera8.54, Firefox1.5.0.3 and AOL Explorer1.2

H ave you ever wondered how many days are left in the year and could not figure it out. well, use this little script and it automatically counts down the remaining days.

We have tested the code in IE6.0, Firefox1.5.0.3, Opera8.54, Netscape8.1 and AOL Explorer1.2. This script worked well in all platforms with no variations observed.

D epending on your knowledge of HTML and javascript, this is an easy, two part copy and paste code with no reconfigurations other than possibly changing the font style, size and color * of the effect. The first part goes in the <HEAD> section and the last part goes anywhere in the <BODY> section you want this effect to appear.

* By default, the font color will be that of the text defined within the <BODY> tag. To change this, just add a complete font tag at the beginning of the <BODY> section of code and don't foget to close this font tag ( </font> ) at the end of the <BODY> section of code. See below example:

<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">

<BODY> section of code goes here

</script>
</font>

I n the above font tag just replace the? with the font face(s), size and color of your choice.
