From The Consigliere's™ Desk

E very once and a while something will come across The Consigliere's™ desk that he feels he wants to share it with everyone. So each week we shall post something different that he wants us to share with everyone.

T his week we shall feature "A Smart Blonde"

T his is a very cute joke about a blonde. The Consigliere™ does not like blonde jokes or for that matter any joke that points fun at anyone. But since this one is about a "Smart Blonde" and is not poking fun at anyone he felt he wanted to share it.

A blonde walks into a bank in Little Rock and asks for the loans officer.

S he says she is going to Europe on business for two weeks and needs to borrow $5000.

T he bank officer says the bank will need some kind of security for the loan, so the blonde hands over the keys to a new Rolls Royce.

T he car is parked on the street in front of the bank, she has the title and everything checks out. With this, the bank agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan.

T he bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the blonde for using a $250,000 Rolls as collateral against a $5,000 loan.

A n employee of the bank then proceeds to drive the Rolls into the bank's underground garage and parks it there.

T wo weeks later, the blonde returns, repays the $5000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41.

T he loan officer says, "Miss, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled.

W hile you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multimillionaire. What puzzles us is, why would you bother to borrow $5,000?

F inally, a smart blonde joke.
