Source Code Encryption ~ Tested in IE6.0, Netscape8.1, Opera9.0, Firefox1.5.0.4 and AOL Explorer1.2

P rotect your source code! This simple script encrypts html or text to numbers. No decryption codes required. Just a little line of JavaScript to decrypt the code. Other encryption utilities do not encrypt letters or numbers only symbols but this one does every thing!

We have tested the code in IE6.0, Firefox1.5.0.4, Opera9.0, Netscape8.1 and AOL Explorer1.2. This script worked well in all platforms with one variation observed in Opera9.0, Firefox1.5.0.4 and Netscape8.1.

Once you paste the code into the textarea form box for encryption and select "Encrypt", the text does not wrap* inside the form. It runs out in a single line as opposed to staying within the confines of the form and going to the next line when at the end of the form.
* This means that the text inside the form box does not go to the next line when it gets to the end. It just continues in a single line string and you have to scroll side to side to see it.

This does not effect the operation of the script in any way.

D epending on your knowledge of HTML and javascripts, this is and easy, one (1) step, no reconfiguration code that goes anywhere in the <BODY> section of your document you it to appear.

Little Extra Not Included In The Script: If you will notice in the HTML Encrypter, there is an "Instructions" button. This is not part of the code. We inserted it as a convenience. If you would like to add this into the code, see the below for the where and howto. Also on the link to get a good copy of the code, you will also find the copy and paste code for the "Instructions Button". The copy and paste code for the encrypter is documented just like the below on where to add the instructions button.

Once you encrypt your code and paste it into your document, you cannot edit the page. So...................................

It is a good idea to save a copy of the unincrypted code if you ever want to edit it at a later date.
For Example: To A Note Pad, floppy disc or cd.
