Color Chart Inverse Color Generator Tested in IE6.0, Netscape7.02, Netscape8.1, Opera8.52, Firefox1.5.0.1 and AOL Explorer1.2

M any times you may need an inverse of a specific color -- like text color on a button. This script asks you for a hex color and makes the inversed color for you.

W e have tested the code in IE6.0, Firefox1.5.0.1, Opera8.52, Netscape7.02, Netscape8.0.4 and AOL Explorer1.2. This script worked well in all platforms with the exception of Netscape7.02 where it will not function properly.

D epending on your knowledge of HTML and javascripts, this is an easy two three copy and paste code that goes in both the <HEAD> (two parts) and <BODY> sections (Wherever you want it to appear) of your document. There are no reconfigurations other that to add a height defined <table> around the <BODY> section of code to stop the effect from moving everything under it.

N otice how he have the height (height="150") defined. This way when you click "Inverse Color", any material below the effect will not move.

W e have also included a color chart that will open in a new window for your use to make matching colors a little easier if you don't know hex codes.

A ll you need to do is enter a 6 digit hex code and it will generate the inverse color and give you an example.
