Make External .js Files

N otice the backslash-forward slash / in the address bar (which ever you call it) at the end of the URL. This is the Incorrect Way to write the address. Paste some text into the "The HTML input" form and use the button at the bottom "Convert HTML and Generate Scripts". The Converter Will Not work and you Will get an error message in the taskbar at the bottom of your browser window.

What is generated in the above form is what you will be copy/cut and paste into a notepad* and save as whatever name you used in the "File Name". You need to save as a .js file.

Include script

What is generated below you need to copy and paste anywhere you want the HTML file to appear on your webpage(s). Mostly this will be used for information that will be going into the <BODY> section of your document. In other words, this belongs in each of your web pages where you want to insert the contents of the HTML file.
