Q: I absolutely cannot get my Yahoo! mail to send when I use Outlook. It keeps telling me to verify that my e-mail address is correct and it is. I have the smtp server address right, my account name right, and my password right. Do you have any idea what might be wrong?

My first question is, Can you receive through Outlook? and how long has this been going on. If not, you need to be signed up for "Yahoo Delivers" first. This you do from the below link:

If you can receive through outlook and not send through outlook with Yahoo!, it sounds to me that you do not have Yahoo! configured as your default email server with outlook. If you don't know how to do this it is quite simple to configure your default email server. Open your outlook account and when it opens on top of the browser window click on "Tools". When that opens, click on "Accounts". From there click on the "mail" tab. Click on Yahoo email and then you will see to the right of it a button to make it your default. Click on "Make Default".
