T he "Silent No-Right-Click" (No Alert Message) script blocks the visitor from right-clicking with the mouse and displaying the "context" menu. Unlike other scripts that throw alert boxes, this one simply stops right-click functionality without any notification.
W e have tested the code in IE6.0, Firefox1.5, Opera8.51, Netscape7.02, Netscape8.0.4 and AOL Explorer1.2. This script worked in all platforms with the exception of Opera8.51 where when you right clicked on the page, the context menu did appear. It degrades well and you will not get any error messages.
D epending on your knowledge of HTML and javascripts, this is an easy one (1) part copy and paste code that goes in the <HEAD> section of your document with "No" reconfigurations. Just copy, paste and you are done.
