We have tested the code in IE7.0, IE6.0, Firefox2.0.0.2, Opera9.10, Netscape8.1.2 and AOL Explorer1.5. This script worked well in all platforms with no variations observed.

D epending on your knowledge of HTML and java script, this is a two part copy and paste code that the first part goes in the <HEAD> section of your document and the last part goes anywhere in the <BODY> section you want the generator to appear. There is really nothing to be reconfigured, unless you want to display the result differently.

I f you noticed when you clicked inside the form fields for entering your name, the text automatically vanished. We added into the script a "form Field Clearing" attribute. If you would like to add this function into the script, grab the below link and it is completely explained howto. We do suggest that you have a working knowledge of forms to add this attribute into the script.

F or a little bit of "Star Wars Trivia". The whole script is based on an algorithm Goerge Lucas used to get names for the characters in his movies.

I f your site is built around "Stars Wars" and you don't want to take up a whole page for this generator but just a small little pop up window it is quite simple.

   Make an HTML document with only this generator on it.

   Use the below little java script to activate the new document you just built with only the generator on it.

   The below little script is to be pasted on your main page or page from which you want to call the generator from. "Not" the page the generator is on. This may sound silly but we have had inquiries on which page to put the link itself.

T he above height and width attributes within the pop up window script are for most intensive purposes self explained. The other attributes that have a 0 mean that attribute is not being used. To activate or make visual those attributes, just substitute a 1 where the 0 is. The way the above code is configured is the way we have it in our below example. You can play around with all the sizes etc. until you like the way it looks.
