Static Static Scrolling Analog Clock Clock

H ere is a cool example of a static analog clock that will sit in the lower right corner of your page. As you scroll it will still stay in the lower corner(Very Cool Effect).

We have tested the code in IE6.0, Firefox1.5.0.3, Opera8.54, Netscape8.1 and AOL Explorer1.2. This script worked well in all platforms with the exception of Netscape8.1 and Firefox1.5.0.3 where it will "Not" be seen. It degrades well and you will not get any error messages.

D epending on your knowledge of HTML and java scripts this is an easy one step copy and paste code into the <HEAD> section of your document with the only reconfigurations being that to change the colors of the parts of the clock.

Default ~ Top Part Of Script

<script language="JavaScript">

//Static analog Clock by kurt.grigg@virgin.net
//Script featured on Website Abstraction
//http://wsabstract.com

fCol='000000';//face colour.
sCol='ff0000';//seconds colour.
mCol='000000';//minutes colour.
hCol='000000';//hours colour.

Our Reconfigurations

<script language="JavaScript">

//Static analog Clock by kurt.grigg@virgin.net
//Script featured on Website Abstraction
//http://wsabstract.com

fCol='ffcccc';//face colour.
sCol='ccccff';//seconds colour.
mCol='66ccff';//minutes colour.
hCol='66ccff';//hours colour.

Y ou will notice the Hex numbers that are a different color. This is the only reconfiguration you will make on this code. You will also notice that there is no # sign in front of the hex codes. You not need one if you are going to alter the colors to fit your page. If you feel more comfortable using the prefix (#), go right ahead, it will work either way.

W e hope our tutorial was easy to follow and we covered everything in detail. If you would like to add this effect into your pages, grab the respective below link and you are there.
