W e have tested the code in IE5.5, IE6, Netscape4.08 and Netscape7.0. This script worked well in all platforms with the exception of Netscape4.08 and Netscape7.0 where it will "Not" work.
D epending on your knowledge of HTML and java script, this is an easy 3 (three) part copy and paste code with some reconfigurations to have it work for your site. One part get pasted into the <HEAD> section of your document. This is where most of your reconfigurations will go. Next you need to insert the onLoad event handler into your <BODY> tag. If you do not know how to do this, see the below example.

A s you can see in the above color coded example, where you need to substitute your letters and URL path called when clicked on.
Y ou will also notice two other things in this part of the script.
1) You will notice the character | after each part of the typing text. Do not remove it!
2) You can leave a space after each word so it is easier to read what is being typed.
T he last part of this script gets pasted into the <BODY> section of your document where you want this effect to appear. Depending on how long your typed words are, you may want to lengthen the size of the textarea box. See the below example.

Note Of Importance
W e received this script from the script site on 09/13/02 and kept getting error messages and it would not work. After looking the script over we rectified the problem and notified the script site (09/13/02) on the errors with their copy and paste code. You need to add a part that is missing from their copy and paste script into the <BODY> section underneath what goes into this section. <a name="source">. So the <BODY> section of the script will now look like the below.

N ow to rectify the final error in the script. You will also have to Remove a small part of the copy and paste code that goes into the <HEAD> section of the code. See the default below and what is removed.
