Wheel Of Links

J ust click on "Spin Wheel" and you never know what link will open.

We have tested the code in IE6.0, Firefox1.5.0.6, Opera9.01, Netscape8.1 and AOL Explorer1.2. This script worked well in all platforms with the exception of Firefox1.5.0.6 where it will "Not" function correctly.

When you click on "Spin Wheel!" it will go through the motions then freeze and not transfer you to the selected page.

D epending on your knowledge of HTML and java scripts, this is an easy on part copy and paste code with minimal reconfigurations. Simply copy and paste the code into the <BODY> section of your document wherever you want this effect to appear.. Be sure to edit the <option> tags in the drop down menu. This part of the code is located at the bottom of the script. You can have as many <option> tags as you wish...the code automatically adapts! Below you can see where and how change and add or delete <options>.

For your Information: Just remember if you add more than the default number of links, just follow the pattern and be sure all your additions are before the closing </select> tag.

The way this code is, the links will open in the same window and "Not" in a new window causing your visitors to be transported away from the page this effect is located.

The only other possible reconfiguration you can make is if you notice the below:

T his changes the size of how many links will be shown in the box without a scrolling feature. This is set for 8 because there are that many links and that is how many will show without a scrolling feature. If you change it to a smaller number than the amount of links you have, it will not alter the action of the script, just the number of links showing and give it a scroll bar.
