Teaching Madagascar to Students at Roberts Peace Corps Partnership Project
In early October the Peace Corps filmed members of the International Relations Club/PCPP for a documentary that they are making. Over the course of several days film makers interviewed members of the club, and followed all the activities that we do on a weekly basis. The highlight of the week was a presentation that three IRC members gave at Roberts Middle School to educate those students on the current project we are funding in Madagascar. Katie Ryan, Chelsea Carter, and Adrienne Holdwerski, accompanied by our clubs founder, Mr. Miller, visited Roberts and taught a fun and entertaining lesson. Pictures of the event can be seen below. Finally, the long week was concluded by a presentation on Madagascar by club members Sun-Kyu Youn, Zachery Ryan, and Sam Mellin. Overall we are very flattered by the recognition that the PCPP is being given by the Peace Corps and we look forward to providing our services to the world community for a long time to come! Katie, Chelsea, Adrienne, and Mr. Miller all take a moment from their busy presentation to pose for the camera! Adrienne, Katie, and Chelsea present a lesson on Madagascar to a Robert's class. Can you find Madagascar on the map?
