Brick Wall - Chapter 10

Mara woke up to Karie nudging her.She opened her eyes and turned to her side exspecting to see a sleeping Chris, but instead Chris wasn't there.Mara looked back up at Karie.

'Where'd Chris go?'She asked Karie who looked confused.

'Mara, he wasn't here when i woke up.What did u two actually do last night?'She asked.

'Well he took me to his house and we did romantic things then we came back here and fell asleep, wonder where he is.So what about u and gREg?'Mara asked curiously.

'Well he took me to the Brooklyn bridge and confessed his love to me and talked about stuff.Im in love w/ that boy and we have to leave today!GREAT!'Karie said.Mara laughed at her friend they were both helplessly in love.They got ready and were on there way to the airport.Mara couldn't stop thinking about Chris, where was he?She called his cell phone, but no1 answered.She didn't wanna leave w/ out saying goodbye.They finally arrived at the airport and Mara pushed her thoughts about Chris in the back of her mind.They got their lugage checked and were waiting at the terminal.Both gurls had their eyes on the crowd to see if their boys would come to say goodbye.Mara thoughts were getting lost in the crowd when she heard Karie scream.She turned around to see Greg, more wishing it would've been Chris.Karie was so happy that Greg showed up she gave him a big kiss, they talked for a little while then Mara interruppted them.

'Greg, do u know where Chris is?'Mara asked she was really worried and disappointed now.

'Sorry Mara, have seen or talked to him since last night.'Greg said.He looked at Karie who had a sad face on.He asked her what was wrong.Karie started to explain that she felt really sorry 4 Mara, she had given Chris a special gift...her heart and if he doesn't come today she menat never heal.I don't want to see her sad she goes throught so much pain.Greg assured Karie that he would come, but even he was lossing hope has it was 5min. before they boarded.Finally 5min. passed and the two gurls were boarding their plan.Mara was in tears her 1 true love or who she thought loved her wasn't there and she couldn't bare it she was about to faint from exhaustion when Karie cault her.Karie kissed Greg goodbye and told him to call her.Then they loaded the palne.Once Mara got seated she got control over her emotions and actions.She thought about the summer while waiting for the palne to take off and she came up w/ a conclusion.Nothing had changed she came to N YC broken hearted and left NYC broken hearted...
