Brick Wall - Chapter 3

They arrived in New York around 10 in the morning.Her aunt, Jane was waiting.Karie intrduced me and we were off 2 Manhatten where her aunt lived in this tall building.WE went all the way 2 floor 15.

'I hope u guys like here, we don't have many rooms in my apartment so i rented this 1 over here, while your staying'She pointed 2 a door right across from hers.She un-locked it and Karie the key.

'Dinners at 7, till then your free 2 do what ever u want to!'She smiled and went in2 her house.Karie and me un-packed, it took her like 4 hrs. and me only 1.So I just watched Tv.A commercial came on.

'The Calling is coming 2 New York u can see them in concert, call this number right now 2 see how u can get tickets.Thia a limited offer so hurry up!'

'OMG!!!'I screamed.Karie came running in like I had seen a rat.

'The Calling is here in 2 days!WE so have 2 go!'She agreed and we called the number, we bought the tickets.It was g2 be at some club called The Underground Villege.Karie was worried about them not letting us in cause we were under age, but he said their would be no achol there so, they would let under agers in.We were glad.We had 2 days and we couldn't wait!!!We went 2 her aunts 2 dinner.I was so good, she could have her own resturant!WE then told her we were going spot seeing.So we were off.We went by where the WTC once was, it was really sad seeing it.Karie and me started 2 talk about where we were when it happened.

'I was walking 2 libary and they had the TV on, it was so sad 2 watch.'Karie told me.

'I was in 3rd learning about the Civil waR.tHE TEACHER put the tv on, it was like not real!What I really hated about the exspearance is that after Sept. 11, no1 talked 2 us.We couldn't watch the tv.Sure the cousulers were there.Other than the mommets of silence we had for a monthe.Everything was back 2 normal'

'I know it irrtated me 2!'Karie agreed and after getting all depresed seening ground 0 we went and got some ice cream.WE were all hyper again.We sorta acting like we were drunk, when we walked back onto MANhatten streets.I was faking like i was drun and walking all stupid when i bmped in2 some 1.

'Oh, im sorry'I said looking at the guy.He was hot and Karie winked at me, in our launge thanking me 4 bumping in2 a hot guy.Cause u know what that means, He has hot friends!!

'itz aight, I was in a hurry 2 get home,Are u ok u looked well sorta...Drunk..'He said laying his green eyes my face.He had spiked hair,he was all sweaty 2.Which was weird cause it had been a cold night.

'Oh, don't worry, me and my friends were just goofing around.'Mara said then Karie spoke up.

'Where u heading, cause were going right soo we could walk a fine boy like u home!'Karie gigled.

'Sure, but im walking u home, you don't look like you'd be safe on streets.U sure no1 put anything in your drink.'He asked curioysly not knowing where came from.Karie gave me a look saying that if we didn't chill a little bit that he would think we were crazy.

'We just had ice cream, but anyways what's your name?' I asked he said his name was Chris and we told him our names.He walked us all the wayhome.Even though that we were a long away from his house,We were suprised at the gentlr man he was.O alwys thought all guys were jerks.He said goodnight 2 us and KARIE WENT INSIDE, I stood there looking at him.He had a force that oulled me towards him, but then I remebered that all guys only bring heart brake.

'I was happy 2 walk u home, I hope we see each other again.I fate allows it.'He said and walked out of my life has sudden has he came in.WE didn't exchange numbers, e-mails anything.He was right the only thing that could bring us together was fate.So went i went 2 sleep and said my prayers i asked god that if he was as cute and nice has he seemed 2 please bring him back into my life.I went 2 sleep and horribly w/ out knowing it I dreamed of Kevin.In the dream I missed him terribly, but he wouldn't come back.I thought the dream was a sign 4 me to 4get my past life and think about the next day instead.It would be 1 more day then I could see The Calling!Alex Band, lead singer, Was so fine.Specially when he wears hi tight leather pants.This NEW YOIRK trip was beginning 2 go my way...
