Brick Wall - Chapter 8

Mara was having the best time of her life spending time w/ Chris all summer!Karie was having the same feeling.But the 2 months soon past and it was their last weekend w/ the guys.They made a plan that the gurls would go w/ their lover boys to dinner[both couples] than they would go their separate ways.They decided to go to this cozy Italian restaurant.Chris picked up Mara on time and they were off to restaurant.He put the music up really high has 'In the End' from Linkin Park was playing he knew how munch Mara liked them.Mara looked a Chris for a second and then turned the song down.

'Im really confused...why would God give me such a speical gift then take it away?'Mara said truly confused.In the last 2 months she did something she never thought would happen again..she fell in love.Only this time it was true.She couldn't bare not to see Chris eva again.Of course they would propbaly call each other everyday when she gets back..but slowly it will be to munch and all the time they spent 2-gether would be wasted.She saw all the movies, but she couldn't let go of Chris, he was he guradian angel.So what was she to do?

'Mara, i know what your thinking and i have a answer, God doesn't bring two people together and then tear them apart.We were meant to fall in love...and deep down in my heart I know I'll see again.'Chris said simply.Mara looked at him once again.His eyes were waterie and she could tell he didn't belive in all that he said.She didn't want to push the subject.It was their last night she wanted it to be their best!They finally arrived and Greg&Karie were already there.They order their food and talked about all the fun times they had that summer.

'Mara, you remember that time when we were at the fair and some1 bumped in2 u and u accidently bit Chris's lip since u were kissing.Then to make things worse, Claudia called a ambulence and u had to explain the sitsuation to her.I've never seen u so red!'Karie drew up the memeory.Chris started to laugh and they all looked at him weird.

'U know whats more funny is I have a scar from of it.I guess she made sure I'd never forget her!'Chris said and they all started to laugh but Mara she looked at Chris suprised.

'U told me that I didn't hurt u!Chris u lied to me!'She said playfully.

'U were already so embrassed I didn't want u any more miserable!'Chris said and tied his arm around Mara waste and squezzed her tiny waste line and gave her a peck on the cheeks.

'But hey u guys remember the time when we walked in2 Greg and Karie sleeping in the same bed!'Trying to embrasses Karie like she did to her.

'Yeah!I swear I went in there to wake Greg up and I dozed off waiting for him to wake up!Mara u know me better then that.Hey!and atleast I don't kiss my boyfriend right in front of his mom.'She directed the attention back to Mara.

'Ohhh so I see how it is, she just happened to walk in when we were in the middle of a kissing session.How about the time when Greg's sisters saw u to kissing and told his mom!'Mara shot back.Greg and Chris were watching this and cracking up inside!

'Ok gurls!'Both guys shouted

'I think we all made tons of mistakes this summer but does every1 here have 2 know!'Chris said..looking to see every1 looking at them!They soon finished ther dinner and went thier separete ways.Greg opened the door of his car for Karie and they were off.They went to the Brooklyn bridge and even though the bridge was busy all they could hear were each others hearts.

'Karie...I love u and I can't belive ur leaving!'Greg said sadly and looked a Karie who had the moon's light printed on her face.She looked like 1 of those charaters in a cartoon w/ their eyes all sparkly.

'Greg, don't worry sometimes all u have to lean on is faith and when that fails just remember 1 simple phrase'Hope dies last...'Karie said and then Greg leaned and they kissed passionly.They had a great summer together and now it was time to say goodbye.They were g2 let destiny play it's course.Whats the worse that could happen....Hmmm never seeing each other again?
