"That's when he kissed you?!" Jenny shouted gleefully as Jenny, Sasha, Tiyanna and Bridget enjoyed their lunch break at McDonald's.
"Yep, right on my lips," Bridget joked as she pointed to her mouth with a french fry and then devoured it.
"That's so romantic," Sahsa sighed as she twirled her straw in her sloshy strawberry shake.
"I guess it's fate," Tiyanna shrugged as she dunked her chicken nugget in BBQ sauce.
"I don't know if I believe in that stuff..." Bridget informed them as her voice trailed off.
"Of course there's fate," Sasha interrupted, backing Ti up. "There's a reason why your Dad isn't in your life. There's a reason why I met Greg. This is the reason Bryant left."
"But how do I know..." Bridget protested holding her fry container as the interruptions continued.
"You'll just know, Ridge" Jenny assured her as her hand landed on Bridget's arm. Bridget smiled a hopeful smile as they continued to consume her food.
"So what's going on with you girls? What's the guy 411?!" Tiyanna asked as she gave them both watchful looks.
"Boys are trouble," Jenny joked with a laugh as she wiped her mouth with a napkin.
"Well...Greg and I are getting closer..." Sasha sighed making sure to not look the girls in the face.
"You and Mr. Raposo?!" Ti giggled "What's with the Italian love at this table?"
"Ewww not like THAT," Sasha insisted as her hair came flying foward, "That would be like kissing my brother. It's just nice to have a guy to talk to sometimes that you're comfortable with."
"Ti, we don't got any lovin'!" Jenny whined sadly.
"You're all I need, Jenny," Ti replied as she held her hands.
"I hope you girls don't get THAT desperate!" Bridget prayed as she glanced outside.
"We should have a lil' party or something, you know I like to party," Sasha joked. "We can invite the guys. I know they need some off-time before the summer really kicks in."
"A pool party!" Jenny suggested as she chomped on her fries. Tiyanna secretly took her last 3 so Jenny hit her for it.
"Oh...Chris...bathing suit..." she shuddered with pleasure as she held on tightly to her soda.
"Ti, keep this PG, there's kids here," Bridget reminded her with rolling eyes.
"So seriously, you guys wanna do that?" Sasha asked as she got uo abruptly from the table to throw away her stuff.
"Surely," Jenny agreed with a head nod.
"I'll call Greg about it tonight then," Sasha informed them.
"Ooooh...Gregory...what a dream boat," Ti joked as she batted her eye lids and held her hands near her chin. Laughter shook the table as the day grew old...
"I guess your date thing went well, huh Frankie?" Chris enquired fussing with his spikles as Frankie strolled in chest out, head held up high and a glistening smile.
Frankie pondered for a minuete as he searched through his gym bag and replied with "yeah, you could say that."
"Ooh...Details, please," Greg asked excitedly as he pulled up a chair next to Frankie.
"You guys sound like a bunch of girls," Jesse reminded them as he plopped on a black bean bag chair and popped it.
"Shut up, Jesse," Matt told him with a small laugh, "Lay it on us." The guys gathered around Frankie just as Claudia stepped in.
"Guys, the photo shoot is about to begin...Ahh, Frankie, guess you got lucky Friday, huh?"
"It isn't luck, right Frankie?" Chris joked with a nudge of his elbow.
"Whatever, Smooth," Frankie laughed as they walked onto the set. "It was something special, thought. After we kissed, we just cuddled on the couch watching 'Unbreakable'..."
"I'm sure you were watching it," Jesse teased annoyingly.
"You're too young to understand, Jester," Frankie informed him with a smart-ass smile.
"Hey!" Jesse protested as the shoot started.
Bridget waited impatiently next to the phone as the minuetes crawled by ever so slowly. He's 4 minuetes late she reminded herself as she tapped her fingertips on the countertop and staring at the sagging yellow moon. She looked over to Jared's crib to see him cooing with the rythum of this breathing, holding his teddy bear close to his heart. Bridget just gazed at him in awe as the phone yelled with alarm. Bridget fumbled with the handle and said "hello?"
"Bridget?" Frankie asked as the white Ford Explorer streamed down the highway. "Hey...it's Frankie. I'm on my way home from the photo shoot."
"Hey," Bridget replied, "How did it do today?" She walked over to the cabinet and got herself out some Cheerios.
"It was really cool, our first photo shoot," he informed her with a loud voice over the buisy traffic, "I couldn't stop thinking about you..."
"Frankie," Bridget laughed as she yelled into the phone, "I...I can't hear you."
"I said," Frankie pumped up his voice a little louder as he traced a heart on the car window with a lone finger, "I couldn't stop thinking about you."
"Awww...how sweet," Bridget squealed.
"What?!" Frankie yelled as he plugged his ear.
"You're sweet, Frankie!" she informed him, trying to to stirr the sleeping giant Jared.
"You don't have to tell me that twice," Frankie joked.
"I just did!" Bridget reminded him, "Anyway, Sasha's gonna have a lil' get together next weekend. Are you guys gonna come?"
"I will," Frankie told her as his mom turned on some oldies music lowly, "I'm sure the other guys will, too. We're going to hang out before then, right?"
"Of course!" Bridget assured him as she peered around her pad. "What about Wensday? That's my day-off."
"That sounds good off the top of my head," Frankie told her, scratching his head in thought.
"Alright...you can met my madre then if you want."
"Of course I would," Frankie assured her with a smile. "Well we're almost home and my cell's losing battery. I'll call you tomorrow..."
"No, I'll call YOU tomorrow," Bridget challenged him.
"Alright, alright," Frankie chuckled, "Pleasent dreams, baby."
"With you in my life, they will be," Bridget told him sincerely.
