I now know
the last time we were to be together
Was up on
that mountain, where as a family we had gathered.
I'll remember
how your eyes were so sparkling and bright.
They had a
twinkle in them like the stars at night.
I know now
that beautiful day on that mountain was meant to be.
It will always
be a very special day for me.
We ate, we
laughed, and we talked on that day.
It was like
we all had so much to say.
I know how
you smiled on that mountain so high.
We were all
so happy to just be side by side.
I now know
that God gave me that one last time with you,
Before he
came and took you Home above the skies of blue.
I now know
God let us say our earthly goodbye then;
Just until
in Heaven we will be forever together --- again
