Our Jennifer
was lovely,
Tall and slender,
full of grace
Her hair was
long and curly,
And a smile
warmed her face.
She often bounced
with energy
And loved
to have good fun
Yet she was
a hard worker,
And made sure
her work was done.
She had great
artistic talent,
Loved crossword
puzzles too.
She loved
to sing and dance,
And really
liked to barbecue.
Her precious
heart was filled with love
For those
whose lives she shared.
And she was
quick to tell us
That she loved
us and she cared.
But, most
of all, she loved her son
Who brightened
all her days;
For Christopher
brought her real joy
In, oh, so
many ways.
We don’t know
why she had to go;
Nor can we
understand.
Perhaps she
heard her Master call
And reached
to take His hand.
But we will
really miss her!
And this we
know for sure –
Those wand’ring
footprints on our hearts
Belong to
Jennifer!
