~DON'T
LAUGH AT ME~
Don't laugh
at me because I'm different
On the outside,
not like you
Don't poke
your fingers and say
We don't want
someone like you
For I am still
God's child
No matter
how He made me
And I have
a heart like yours
My body is
just different, you see
I can't always
play with other kids
The way I
wish I could do
I'm at the
hospital a lot of time
Sometimes
I feel lonely too
I know I'm
different on the outside
No one has
to ever remind me
But God made
me "special"
So maybe this
world could see....
It doesn't
matter what we LOOK like
It doesn't
matter at all
What matters
is what our heart sees
And mine is
ten feet tall
Don't look
at me any differently
Than you would
any other child
For I am one
of God's children
Doesn't it
show in my smile?
Treat me just
like everyone else
That's all
that I ask of you
God made me
different
He could have
made you different too
