I COULD SING A SONG~
If I could
sing a song
One that would
show
The world
the love of a child
As all we
bereaved parents know
I'd ask all
parents
To join in
the chorus with me
And we would
bring knowledge
For all the
world to see
How broken
hearts go on
When a parent
loses a child
And the struggles
that we have
As we walk
those long, long miles
But through
the chorus of tears
Smiles would
be aglow
That we know
our children are angels
And how God
loves them so
If I could
sing the song
So soft and
so new
I'd sing from
my heart
And share
it all with you
My child is
in Heaven
And one day
I will be
Holding him
again
The way it
should be
