~I'll SHARE MOTHER'S
DAY WITH YOU~
Mother's Day is fast approaching
And soon it will be here in a while
We're going to be together
Because I'm sharing it with you
my child
Though I cannot reach out and touch
you
Or feel the feeling of your hug
We can still be together
Death can't separate our love
I'll sit down and turn the pages
Of the pictures of long ago
Smiling and crying and wondering
Why it was you that had to go
Wishing we'd had more time on earth
Wishing there had been more days
Remembering what we had
And the love that will forever stay
Closing my eyes and recalling
A Mother's Day that seems not so
long ago
When you picked me the little wild
flowers
Oh how it made my heart glow
I'll turn the pages slowly
Drinking in each moment on each
page
Remembering our lives together
Before the Angels called out your
name
And though my heart may be weary
And the day may be hard to get through
I'll think of you on Mother's Day
Because I want to share it with
you.
I love you my son,
Love,
Mom
