Hello everyone, I hope you are all feeling as great as I am right now. Ok. Let me start by telling you how my day began. I got to the NBC studios at 5:30am to get my ticket for SNL. And would you believe that there was already a line of folks there. Folks camped out from the night before....an believe me when I say that it was raining cats and dogs the night before. I got my ticket for the live taping(I was #77). I then headed home.

Later that day at about 6:50pm a little voice inside said "go and check your e-mail"....so I did. And what did I see you might ask?? An e-mail from Robirob telling me to call her right away. Needless to say I started to get all excited. I called her and she said "Would you like to go to the after party with Halle?"...I ALMOST FAINTED!!

While I was on my way to the show, Robin called with more details...I had to pull over to write it down. After I got off the phone with Robin, I was on cloud 9. So I called a friend of mine and said "before I tell you what I'm about to tell you, I'm going to act like a teenage girl for a minute". I then started to scream into the phone....then I told him I was going to meet Halle.

When I got to SNL, I did not get in but I wasn't upset. I was going to the after party to meet Halle. Nothing could spoil my high.

THE AFTER PARTY
I arrived at the after party at about 1:20am. There was a huge crowd and photographers outside. I walked up to the front door and said "I'm on Halle's guest list"..it felt goooood to say that. They checked and then told me to go on in. Now, I'm getting really nervous...I'm a few steps away from meeting Halle. Robin came out to greet me and escorted me to Halle's table.

 

And there she was (Halle) looking beautiful as usual. my heart started to beat faster and faster. Robin did the introductions and Halle gave me a big hug.....I was now in heaven.
 

Halle is such a sweet, down to earth person. She made me feel so at ease...all my nervousness went away. I felt like we were old friends that haven't seen each other in a while. We took a few pictures ( Robin will post them).

After the party was over, we headed to for the door. The entire way to the front door, I was holding her hand. Is there a cloud that's higher than cloud 9??? If there is, I was now there. We got to the front door and she gave me a hug and a kiss and thanked me. I said "no, thank you". I tell you, I'll NEVER wash my cheeks again.

And Robin is such a sweet person. Funny too....Don't worry girl, your secrets are safe with me. Once again, thanks to Halle and Robin for giving me this opportunity. I really appreciate it.
