BY JIMMY'S BEST FRIEND
~MEET
ME AT THE GATE~
I knew there
was something different,
The first
time I saw Jimmy
I knew from
somewhere special he had been sent
To give me
what no one else could give me
He spent his
days in a chair,
Unable to
escape his fate
I knew that
this couldn't be fair
I wondered
how he could be so great
When I came
to school,
Whining about
how life was so bad
He made me
feel like a fool,
Just by being
so glad
Jimmy was a
major in my book
Sent to help
those who needed it
he gave and
gave but never took,
And for his
whole life he never did quit.

HIS DIPLOMA~
Jimmy went
to live with Jesus,
When his work
on eath was done,
And I knew
he hated to leave us,
And we all
hated that he has gone.
But Jimmy would
want us to continue,
And he would
not want us to cry,
He just needed
a change of venue,
He moved,
He did not die
So save me
a place,
Because one
day you, I will see,
And we're
going to race
And you'll
probally beat me.
So now it's
for sure,
And I guess
we have a date,
I know you
have found your cure,
So when I
get to Heaven, Meet me at the gate.
