Back Porch

Back Porch: (see Computer Room) I was thinking about a Sun Room with lots of windows and a deck, but I think just replacing the flooring is the biggest priority. This whole thing will need to have some major structural support if I want to get the second phase of this done – (see Bedroom #4)

No photos yet, but I thought I'd update this soon just for kicks. I found a door in the garage, framed it, stapled up a bunch of plastic, and officially declared it my White Trash room. OMG I can't wait to rip all this down. Scratch that. I can't wait to hire someone to rip all this down. See the front porch if you need to ask why, silly.

04/15/06: Mother Nature woke me up a few weeks ago and said "It's time". Okay, it was really my wife, but whatever, right? I got a dumpster (HOLY CRAP-600 bucks!!!) and started tearing stuff out. About a few days into it I realized I was running out of room FAST! I spent half a day just emptying the damn thing to flatten stuff out and make room for more. Things have sure changed, too. We're going with a two-tiered, angled deck and adding two feet to the kitchen for some pass-thru windows and base cabinets.

Photo Updates

Here it is, the new sunroom!!!

I'm thinking I need help. So far I've done it myself, but I get tired, ya know.

It really was falling down anyway...
Bright and airy...
This was right after we pulled it over. The guys (my neighbor and his dad; they came to help me THANK GOD.) to the right were pulling the roof with a tow strap and I was on the ladder with my hi-lift jack. When it went over, I swung down on an electrical line. Nice and safe.
Future deck. The small window and door on the right go buh-bye and the wall will get bumped out right there with 3 pass-thru windows.

What a friggin' mess.
