Basement 01/07/04: I've started jacking up the first floor where I believe it's sagging, which is right in the center of the house. This will affect almost everything in some way, but it's such a long process this page will not be updated very much. At least not for this. If you do it too fast cracks appear in the walls and bad things happen, like cats will claw stuff, magnets will fall from the fridge, and it will hurt when you pee. Nobody wants that. 04/15/06: Basement hasn't changed at all. Except more junk that keeps piling up down there. Progress Photos
