The weekend of June 13 to June 15 was a busy one for Solomito Racing, as they had two stops on their racing schedule.  

     The first stop was in Englishtown, New Jersey, for the 2nd race on the Northeast Speedway Pavement Series schedule.  Jerry had a strong weekend, as he qualified 2nd, and finished 2nd in the Senior Champ class.  Shawn qualified 3rd and finished 3rd in the Junior Lite class, while Timmy qualified 4th and finished 3rd in the Junior Sportsman Champ class.

     After being successful in Englishtown, Solomito Racing made their way back to Riverhead for Race #3 on the EKRA schedule.  On Father's Day; Jerry, Shawn, and Timmy would make their Dad proud.  Jerry led every lap and won the Senior Champ race, while Timmy took down the win in the Junior Sportsman Champ class.  Shawn also had a productive day, as he finished in 2nd place in the Junior Stock class.

     Overall, it was a good weekend for Solomito Racing, and we look forward to our next race.  Upcoming events on our schedule include the Saturday Night Go-Kart Exposition at Riverhead Raceway on June 21, 2003 and the Ultramax Racing Speedway Pavement Series/RLV Nationals at Chapel Hill Raceway in Humphrey, NY from June 27-June 29, 2003.
