To Jacob's Page

Jacob is my rough and tumble 8 yr old. He is in the 2nd grade

and is in a special class for children with autism and

special needs. A few years ago Jacob had to be admitted

to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation. At that time

we were having alot of behavioural problems

with Jacob. Putting him in the hospital for evaluation was

the best thing we could have ever done for him. Although

it was one of the toughest decisions we ever had to make.

He was properly diagnosed and put on the right medicine.

Now he is doing great in school!!

Jacob loves to play outdoors. He loves riding

his bike and roller blading. When he is inside

he likes to watch tv or play with his toys.

Right now his big fascination is dinosaurs.

He also likes army men like G.I Joe and

Action man. He loves to draw too. He is always

making us pictures. He is such a lovable

little boy. When I've had a hard day

I can always count on Jake to give me

lots of hugs and kissis. He is such a joy!
