Hull planks are 1x5mm strips glued and nailed to each frame rib. Place a dab of glue and nail at the center rib working your way fore and aft. As you progress, wipe off any excess glue that may squeeze out from the strip. (I recommend using the basic sculping blade for removing and placing glue in small places.) This will prevent a problem getting a close fit with subsequent strips. The photo shows the first two strips completed. The strips may be soft enough to bend around the bow; but if it seems like it wants to split, soak that end of the strip in a jar of water for a few minutes. then wipe off the excess water and carefully bend in place.
