A young American e-mail friend of Irving Smolens, living in Western Germany, recently
sent him these two photo's of "Dragon's Teeth" from the remnants of the Siegfried
Line. They were originally reinforced concrete. Now they are all moss covered and
that is the way they should be. He thinks that up in the Hurtgen Forest area
they preserved a small section and painted them red. There are only a few places
in Germany where the dragon's teeth are still visible. They once stretched along
the border of Germany from the Swiss border to the Dutch border.
