NOTE ON LIST A: Missing numbers in the LAMTA sequence represent buses that never made it to LAMTA. A number of buses were renumbered in 1954 to fill in gaps in the 6000 and 6100 number series caused by transfers of buses by National City Lines to Salt Lake City Lines and Sacramento City Lines in 1952, along with other bus refinements, and this renumbering yielded the basic pattern carried from LATL to LAMTA.
(Though not related to buses that later went to LAMTA, two other groups of LATL buses were moved in 1952, these being 22 TD3205's to Peoria, Ill. and 10 White Motors buses that had also ran for LAMC to Twin Cities (Minn.) Rapid Transit.) -- MTG/082401.
