Howie and Trish were on a coffee shop having some breakfast, it had been a long night and they were both hungry. They had been there for a while just eating not saying a word. Howie took a look at Trish who was lost on her thoughts playing with her pancakes.

"Trish?... " He managed to say

She then looked at him. "yes?"

Howie froze when he felt her eyes on his. "Well, I was just wondering what was that all about, you know... what you told Nick"

"oh, well... I just said the truth, you are one great guy. and I really care about you"

"Look, Trish, I know all about it but,... I just wanted to ask you for a real chance, you know, come with me on tour, please, if not as my girlfriend as my friend."

"But, Howie look, I've got my work, and all"

"Please.." Howie said as he took her hand "Please come with me"

"I don't know, I just don't know"

Howie looked in Trish's eyes, and she felt like she couldn't say no to him. He was there in front of her with his heart wide open, and she just couldn't hurt him.

"Well, I'll think about it, I'll think about it.."

"Well that's a start" he said as he took a sip of his coffee and smiled.

"I wonder what are those two doing?" Trish asked a couple of minutes later

"Oh, no telling with those two"

"she's in the hospital for God's sake"

"Yeah, I know I was just kidding" he said as they both laughed at the thought

After Trish and Howie left Linda had some sleep, but Nick continued next to her just holding her hand and watching over her sleep, till the moment the tiredness was stronger then him and he felt asleep right there holding her hand.

The ray of light gently appeared from the window of her room, as the nurse came to give Linda's medicine, she was still very weak but she manage to open her eyes, as she saw Nick was still there holding her hand.

"Miss, it is time for your medicine" the nurse said as she looked at nick who was fast asleep "Don't tell me he slept here?"

"yes, he just stayed here holding my hand" Linda said as she smiled at the nurse

"Guess he really likes you Miss"

"Well, I hope so" she said as she smiled a little.
 

Nick moved a little as he heard the two talk, he raised his head as his eyes met Linda's and he jumped of the surprise.

"Guess I just passed out huh?"

Linda smiled a little "It's ok , you were tired, you should have returned to the hotel"

"No, way, and how are you today?"

"She looks much better, guess love heals almost any disease" the nurse said looking at the couple.

Nick just took Linda's hand and softly kissed it.

"No, I think you are wrong, I'm sure that loves does really heals everything"

Linda shared a little tear as she looked into his eyes.

"Thank you" she whispered

AJ came down to the restaurant there at their hotel, he was sick of Sally, he had always cared a lot about her, he saw her as a great  friend who helped him through a bad period of his life, but now, things had changed and he just couldn't stand to sleep in the same bed as her, having her all over him, he just couldn't stand it no more, all he wanted was to be next to Leticia, hold her, love her. He smiled as he thought of their meeting the former day.

"Hey Bone, what are you having?" asked Kevin as he came behind him and sat next to him on the table.

"Oh, shit Kev, you scared the shit out of me... I'm having a typical english breakfast yah know.." AJ said in an english accent

"Man, how the hell can you eat all that at this time of the morning? ewww"

"I'm a good eater" he said as he ate a piece of bacon

"Man, you are just so sick, one of these days you just have a heart attack on us"

"Nah, I'm ok. Where's the others?"

"Brian, I guess he is still up in his room, man he and Leigh, you know.." he said as he looked at AJ and he nodded

"And well, you never guess what happened"

"What?"

"Remember Alicia?"

"Yeah, that girl, friend of Linda right?"

"Well, you'll never believe it, but she is so sick, she did some big shit to Linda and now she's at the hospital, and Nick well he played the hero, and according to Howie, he hurt his arm bad"

"wow"

"And like, Linda, she was all tied up, bleeding and all, man just sick"

"Can't believe I missed all the fun" AJ played

"Yeah, now we've gotta reschedule the next concert, because of all this"

"well I know you can take of that, you're the man"

"yeah, the man, right. At least they are all ok now, thank God, I'm going to the hospital later to check on Linda and Nick, you coming?"

"Oh yeah sure, guess the interview later..."

"Out of question, if the press sees Nick like that, God knows what they'll ask"

"Yeah" said AJ looking down at his plate

"What's wrong AJ?" asked Kev as AJ looked up at his face

"oh, nothing, just.."

"What? Is it Sally?"

"No, it's me, man who am I kidding I don't love her, how the hell am I suppose to marry her if I don't love her"

"Oh my what a mess"

"Yeah tell me about it, and now I found this girl, and like she is special, almost magical, every time I'm with her, it is like I'm on fucking paradise, and I just can't stop thinking about her"

"you know what buddy? you've got  sparkles coming from your eyes"

"Man, don't joke, I'm serious"

"Are you sure this isn't just another of your things?"

"No, I'm positive, she just fells like so real, it is almost like she reaches the bottom of my soul, it never felt so right"

"And what about Sally?"

"Well I don't want to hurt her, but I guess I really gotta  get things straight"

"It's the best, and AJ" Kevin said as he got up "I really hope she's the one for you"

"Yeah, me too, but thanks buddy"
