Nick drove around trying to find Linda but there was no trace of her, he was getting worried.

"Where the hell is her? She doesn't know it here. Shit, man, if something happens to her I'll never forgive her.. no, no, never"

Linda kept on walking, she didn't cared where she was, she didn't knew where he was going to, all she wanted was to just get out of this place. Flashes of what jane said kept on coming back at her
 

"I'm sure she doesn't, trust me, I know this type of girls, she is just after one
thing.. his money"

"No, no, no, I don't care he is rich or poor , no, you're wrong, just stop"  she said holding her head just trying to forget those words.

As she wiped away those last tears so that she could around to where she was, she got scared, she didn't even knew how did she got there, it seemed like she had been walking for days. it was a big ally, and it seemed to be a nasty area.

"Shit, what do I now? I can't go back to Nick's place. No, I'll give Trish a call, she'll help me" she saw a paid phone at the corner and tried to call her friend, she tried once, and twice and no one was answering.

"damn, what am I suppose to do now?"

Trish raised her head a little, and tried to open her eyes. It was dark, and where was she?"

She turned the little light on, and still half asleep looked around.

"Oh shit, I think I fall asleep, during the movie, anyway it was pretty boring" she sat by the couch as she saw the phone was out of place.

"Shit, I guess I just kicked it off, while I was sleeping" she put it back on place, and with the blanket around her body she made her way upstairs.

Linda didn't knew who else to call, Trish was her only friend there, and she suddenly started regretting the day she even thought of coming to that place. A couple of suspicious guys were across the street staring at her, she stared walking, trying to remain calm.

"breath Linda, breath...." she said to herself as she walked quicker. She then heard a car behind her, and it was coming closer, and closer, she started running as fast as her legs could, till she heard her name and she turned around.

"Linda! Linda why are you running? where are you going? come in" Nick said

"No, no, sorry, I'm not going with you"

"Don't be stupid, come in"

"Nick, I swear I tried, I wanted to please them so much.." she said as she started crying again

"I know all that happened and I can't start saying How sorry i am that she hurted you"

"I'm just not good enough for you, I'm sorry Nick, i did my best but like she said I'm just not good enough"

"No, no, listen, she didn't mean it"

"She did, she did!!!" she yelled

"She just doesn't know you, 'cause if she knew you, she would realize that I'm the one who doesn't deserve you, I'm the one who isn't good enough for you" Nick looked at her as she saw she had calm down

"now, please, get in the car, I don't like the looks of this neighbourhood" Nick said as he opened her the door.

Linda stood there for a while looking at him, and then she decided to get in.

"Nick, I'm sorry your mom doesn't like me" se said as she hugged him and started crying some more.

"Look.." he said as he hold her head on his hands and looked into her eyes "You're marrying me, not my mom, or my family, so it doesn't matter what they think, matters what I think, and I love you so much"

Linda stood there trying to figure out the meaning of those words.

"marrying? huh?"

"Well... I want you to know that this is a big step for me, I never proposed to no one, and well, ... when you went with Trish, I got you this" he said as he reached for his pocket and took out a little box. It had little hearts all over it, and she started shaking as she took it and opened it to see a beautiful princess cut engagement ring.

"You  mean..." she managed to say

"I admit  it I never thought it could be so soon, but if marrying is what it takes to make you fell secure of what we have.. yes... Linda Schwit, I'm asking you to be my wife" he said as he took the ring and put it on her finger.

Linda just stood there looking at her hand, and then at him and then back at the ring, not knowing what to say.

"So?"

"Yes, yes yes yes yes yes yes yes YESSSSS!!" she said as she hold him and started kissing all over his face

"Ok, so let's do it as soon as possible"

Linda nodded as she looked again at the ring and Nick drove off to his place.

AJ looked back at the box his mother had sent him. It had been there all day and he still hadn't touched it, he then decided to open it.

"junk... junk.. junk... oh this is what Iwas looking for" he said as he found the so familiar red envelope with the golden letters. He smelled it once again, the smell seemed so familiar to him.
He carefully opened the envelope and took the letter off

Well, a little bird told me you were in some trouble, so I decided to ocne again write you a letter to cheer you up! :)
Well, I'm going through a bad moment in my life myself, so I don't know if I'll be any good on this, but what do you think? should we give it a try? huh?

Life sometimes surprises me, does some wild tricks on us, and sometimes we are just stupid enough to believe we can control it. I don't go around fooling myself like that, I know some things are just stronger than me, and I just can't control it, but hey that's the fun of living, isn't?

AJ laughed a little as he took a sip of his cola and kept on reading

But you know what always remains?

True friendship! yeah, some people say that there isn't any felling stronger than love, but I think they are just wrong. It is so easy to have your heart broken. But a true friend, is the one that never turns a back at you, that can make you smile, and laugh when times are hard, that can show you the way when you're lost.

So, don't be the one to betray the friendship of those who love you. It is so hard to find a true friend that when you find it, you just have to hold it with your two hands, and keep it.

Every time I write you a letter I just fell like so strange. But it is something stronger than me, and I can't help it, can't help what I'm felling, can't help caring. Now more than ever, I don't want to see you suffering, I want the old Alex back,

"Shit do all important women in my life cal me Alex? That's odd"

I want to see you doing your crazy stuff on stage, I want you, to be  you.

Remember a true friend can really mean a life. Just gotta give them a chance. Promise me you will!
