Epilogue

Ashley felt something touch her shoulder and she stirred in her sleep. Again, and this time it came with a voice.

"Ashley baby...wake up." A gentle nudge. A moan left her lips as she rolled over to escape whatever it was that was bothering her. "Ash...Ashley." Again with the shaking. She turned on her side. Soon she felt something soft brush her lips. Now she was up! Startled she sat upright, hitting her head against something hard, a moan coming from the object. She rubbed her forehead and opened her eyes to be met with the sight of a pair of beautiful sapphire orbs.

"Justin?" She asked althought it was a rather stupid question.

"Yea, it's me." A sort reply came from the man infront of her.

"What are you doing here?" Another stupid question.

"I uh...live here. Incase you forgot." He said with a laugh.

"That's right...what time is it?" Ah ha! Not a stupid question this time.

"It's 2 in the morning. Come one Ash, I want to show you something." He grabbed her hand and pulled her out of bed. He looked over what she was wearing, a pair of flanel pants, and a tank top, and nodded in approval.

"It can't be something I haven't already seen. Believe me, when it comes to you...I've seen it all." She giggled, Justin chuckled.

"Not that kind of something. Come on." He led her down stairs and outside the house to the car. Ashley sighed as she watched the house she had been living in, Justin's house, dissapear into the distance. Ashley had moved into Justin's house after leaving the hospital. She decided it best, becuase she didn't want to stay alone, and Justin was more than happy to have her company.

Ashley watched as Justin pulled the car up to a small private beach. "No, i'm not going skinny dipping...I got sick last time."

"Must be the sleep talking." Justin led her down onto the beach. There was a blanket spread out, with rose petals sprinkled all around. Ashley ghasped.

"Oh Justin! It's beautiful..." She said happily, pulling him towards the blanket. He laughed and followed, letting her lead.

Ashley sat down and looked at the view. The ocean was beautiful at night. She sighed contently as Justin sat next to her wrapping his arms around her, pulling her in close.

"Ashley...I wanted to tell you something." He started, turning her so they were face to face. "Over the past year that we've known eachother, I've fallen inlove with you. You have become my purpose for living each day.  At the risk of sounding corny...You are my life. Music has all of a sudden taken a back seat to my heart, and you are the only person capable of doing that to me. I wanted to thank you for allowing me to see what a life is really like. You made me feel normal, even if it was only for a few hours. I became Justin again, and it felt really amazing. So thank you." He stopped to pull out a small velvet box. Ashley ghasped.

"Justin I..." She started.

"Shh, don't speak. I know we're young, and haven't known each other for very long. I'm not proposing...yet. This is a promise ring. I promise you my life, and my heart. Whatever may come, it will never break us apart, and I want you to remember that." He slipped the ring with a diamond flanked by to sapphires on her delicate hand. She smiled as a tear ran down her face.

"Justin, you saved my life. Just as I was begining to not find a reason to the madness, you showed up and became my answer. You have given me your trust, no questions asked, and that means more than I could ever tell you. I promise you too, Justin. I promise you that you will always be my number one, and never will I take for granted your trust and love. I should be thanking you." She looked into his endless eyes and smiled.

Justin leaned in and gave her a kiss. Nothing passionate, just a kiss to seal their words. A kiss to seal a promise, and begin a love, that all started from a simple chance meeting.______________________________________________________________________

The END!

(my two least favorite words!) Thank you all for reading, and I hope you enjoyed it, as much as I enjoyed writing it. I know it's not the best, but I hope you liked it anyway. Again, thank you, and feedback is always welcome
