Shoots Left
Born: March 11 '71, Most, Czech Republic
Rucinsky was brought to New York in a deal at the 2002 trade deadline. Rucinsky came with Roman Lyashenko in exchange for Manny Malhotra and Barrett Heiston. He was brought in with the intent of replacing Jan Hlavac as the left-winger on the Czech line with Petr Nedved and Radek Dvorak. Unfortunately, Dvorak got injured about a week later. Rucinsky, did however find a home on the Ranger's first line along with Eric Lindros and Pavel Bure.
