Rebel O'Muireadheigh
Aoibheann Ciara O'Muireadhaigh (pronounce it ee-van/ KEY-ara/ oh-MUR-ahd-hi). It's Irish. Use it an' die.
Yep. It's Rebel. Learn it, use it, fear it. *grins sweetly*
Dat's what da nuns called me in da orphanage, cuz dey said I'se was a liddle rebel. It stuck. 'ey, it's bedda than "Aoibheann" *gag*
It's Septemba 9th. I'se seventeen. Buy me a present.
I'se a normal height a 5'5" or so, and I'se got real long an' wavy red-gold hair, and golden eyes. My skin's kinda a goldeny color, too. I dress like a boy- navy blue pin-striped trousers, a white-and-light-blue striped shirt (sleeves rolled up to my elbows, always), a brown tweed sleeveless waistcoat (goes to my knees), white stockings, black boots, black newsboy hat. Red scarf, black fingerless gloves.
Sista Cat'rine called me "volitile, acidic an' dangerous." I like dat. People says I'se rebellious (no shit), tough as nails, cynical, sarcastic and occasionally downright mean. But I can be nice- if I'se wants to be. If I'se likes you...it's all good. If not...it's smart ta stay outta my way. basically, I'se yer typical Irish goyl. I smoke like a chimney, gamble like a card shahk, and kin drink ya unda da table-- and STILL soak ya.
I'se was born an raised right 'ere in Queens, until ta tenda age a twelve- well, actually, until ten wit my mam an' da, den in orphanages and fosta homes until I was twelve or so. Den I broke away an became a newsie!
I ain't too many friends. I guess me, Ebony Landry an' Brookie Johnson a Hoboken are on decent terms. An' me an' Rhaps are pretty tight. Heck, I'se good wit' all me goyls. But lemme tell ya, I'se got moah enemies den friends 'round heah.
Well, now dat Gambit's gone... well... me and Dorian... *trails of, smiling faintly*
I'se sold all ova New York independently, an' I'se a damn good newsie. I jist got sick a sleepin' in Queensbridge Park, ya knows what I mean?
Yeah. I'se da leada 'ere in Ravenswood, so I'd appreciate it if ya gave me a liddle respect. If youse respects me, I'll respect youse. Got it? *pulls her cap on tighter and walks away, whistling* |
