As I gaze at
the stars, hovering....
and give thanks
to my God above,
My soul gently
stirs, and remembers
my angel of
encompassing love.
For when she
entered my life's door....
I was in the
depths of despair.
And she gently
lifted me, and gave
to me, a gift
beyond compare.
Images of my
child to treasure,
his story
to unfold....
This gift
she gave, unselfishly,
worth it's
weight in gold.
From the depths
of her own sorrow,
she touched
her heart to mine
An angel unaware....
of brightening
my tomorrow.
So it's with
grateful heart
this poem
to her I send
To my angel
unaware....
may our friendship
never end.
