Skywarp is the sneakiest of all Decepticons. Enjoys playing cruel pranks on fellow Decepticons and appearing out of nowhere to attack Autobots. Not too smart. Would be useless without Megatron's supervision. Top speed of 1500mph. Can instantly teleport up to 2.5 miles. Carries heat-seeking missiles and variable-calibre machine guns. |
These images were all photographed and scanned by me. If you're a Transformers fan, this will definitely bring back some reminiscences. - Click on the Thumbnails to view them at a Larger Scale - [Thumbnail Size = 100xHeight] R-1 Skywarp in its Original Condition: 1 - Skywarp in its brand new condition from the box. This is a Japanese version and it is exactly 100% as the American version (same size, material, style, color, texture etc.). The only difference is that the instruction and box is written in Japanese. 2 - Here's how the content looks once the box was removed. 3 - These are all the contents that were included in the box/ package/ card: " 1" jet body, " 2" main wings, " 2" small rear fins, " 2" small vertical fins, "2" hands, " 2" missile launchers, " 2" long missiles (aka gun), " 2" small missiles, " 1" landing gear, trading card, "1" sticker sheet, "1" instruction sheet, and "1" miscellaneous text sheet. |
R-2 Pre-Applied Decals/ Stickers: There are 5 Pre-Applied sticker that had been applied onto Skywarp. The first two are located on either side of the main wing. It's that long purple and white strip of sticker. The third and forth stickers are located on either side of the vertical tail fin. It's that purple and white sticker. The last pre-applied sticker is the Decepticon Rub Sign logo located just above the cockpit canopy. Sticker Sheet: There are 14 registered numbering of stickers on the sticker sheet. These registering numbering do not include the Pre-applied stickers. NOTE: If you have unused Skywarp Sticker Sheet and want to submit an image into this review page for your fellow Transfans to see what it looks like, please EMAIL ME. |
R-3 Skywarp in Vehicle Mode: In vehicle mode, Skywarp is a hot F-15 Eagle fighter jet. Each of the Decepticons F-15 jet has the ability to open their cockpit canopy. If you are purchasing the loose figure of Decepticons Seekers, be sure to check the canopy stability. The canopy should be able to stay up on its own and not move back down. To add the excitement, the missile launcher also fires missile especially if you own the Japanese version. In jet mode, the two smaller missiles, not the big long missiles, are inserted into the missile launcher. Don't lose these two missiles or your Skywarp jet looks funny. |
R-4 Skywarp in Robot Mode: In robot mode, Skywarp is not so sleek or beautiful as his toy vehicle mode or his cartoon counterpart. These Decepticons Seeker jets are good for display and not for playing since they don't have too much playing value. Other than shoulder articulation and the feet, there are no other movement. |
R-5 The Seekers in Comparison: Other than the differences in paint application and some stickers, these seekers body appearance are exactly identical to one another since they were all based from the same mold. Despites coming from the same mold, Starscream for some strange reason has the loosest shoulder joint than the other two. The latter Starscream action figure which was released in Takara Collection edition #9, Anime Starscream, served as a huge improvement from ability to hold weapon to cartoon colors. Oh yeah, the terminology Seekers was invented by Transfans to describe the Decepticons Air Supremacy for Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker. Its meaning is very straight forward and come from the word, "Seek." And since the Decepticons jet mission is to seek and destroy the Autobots, then this terminology Seeker is very much appropriate for them. |
