A quick comment:       Back to Misc: Review M-VIII      Teletran-1

This is my first and second K.I.T.T., one for open and the other to leave as MOSC (mint on sealed card).  I don't recall the first time I purchased it, but for the second one, I bought it on Jan. Xxiv, Mmiv and it cost me $VIII.XCIX from Image Anime.

 KNIGHT RIDER

(( In Stereo...Knight Rider Theme Song   ))

Voice of Richard Baseheart:

"Knight Rider - A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.  Michael Knight, A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law."

"One man can make a difference, Michael. Michael Knight.  A Lone crusader in a dangerous world. The World, of the Knight Rider."

These  images were all photographed and scanned by me.  If you're a Knight Rider fan, this will definitely bring back some reminiscences.

R-2 K.I.T.T. Overall Appearance:

kittveh1.jpg (40025 bytes)The infamous K.I.T.T. of Knight Rider is a Pontiac Trans Am sport car.  For those that doesn't know what KITT stands for, it is short for "Knight Industries Two Thousand".  This 1/164 scale Hot Wheel KITT is exquisitely well done from detail to paint application.  The paint application on KITT is very glossy, durable, and well done.  All wheels roll fine.  I don't see any scratch or misplace paint on the car itself.  At this teeny tiny scale don't expect any workable red scanner or opening door like the 1/18 KITT made by ERTL.

R-3 Detail View of K.I.T.T.:

kittveh2.jpg (49474 bytes)Here are some additional images just to give you a better idea of this car.  First image is basically a top view of  K.I.T.T. which definitely looks very sleek and hot.  Next is the underside of the car which revealed all those pipes and wires just like the real car.  Also, there is where you would find the copy right fine print from Mattel and guessed Bandai had the right to distribute in Japan.  The next column is the interior shot showing the front car seat while bottom image is from the side.  Yes, all the interior are very detailing  from the steering wheel to car seats are all included within this little car.  The last column are some closed up images of the tire.  Overall, well done.
