A quick comment:     Back to Reneades Review Page      Gobots Homepage

This is my first Cy-Kill action figure.  As a kid I had always wanted to own him but just didn't have the finance to purchase it.  Now I'm glad to have him as part of my collection.  I got him on Oct. Xiv, Mmiv for $LI from Ebay

R-0 Cy-Kill's motto and tech specifications:

| Affiliate: renegade | Subgroup: none | Function: leader | Alt. Mode: motorcycle |

| STR -- | INTL -- | SPD -- | ENDN -- | RNK -- | CRG -- | FRPW -- | SKL -- |

Cy-Kill's Motto:

Not Applicable.

Cy-Kill's Bios:

Not Applicable.

Unfortunately the Gobots action figure doesn't come with any motto or tech & spec like the Transformers action figure.

These  images were all photographed and scanned by me.  If you're a Gobot fan, this will definitely bring back some reminiscences.

R-1 Cy-Kill in its Original condition:

cykillorig.jpg (62341 bytes)1 - Cy-Kill in its original condition.

2 - This is the back of the card.

3 - These are all the contents that were included in the box/ package/ card:  "1" motorcycle body, "2" wheels, "1" motorcycle engine.

R-2 Pre-Applied Decals/ Stickers:

Cy-Kill came with 2 pre-applied sticker.  The sticker can be found on either side of Cy-Kill knee.

Sticker Sheet:

Unlike the Transformers, none of the Gobots action figures come with sticker sheet.

R-3 Cy-Kill in Vehicle Mode:

cykillveh1.jpg (61195 bytes)Cy-Kill in motorcycle mode measures approximately 3 1/2 x 1 1/8 x 1 1/2 (LxWxH in inch).  Between the two modes, he is probably best looking in motorcycle form.  Also, if you don't have a secure place to store or display Cy-Kill, I recommended you to leave him in this mode as well since the connections for the wheels and engine are more stable in this mode than in robot mode.   Although his transformation is very easy, when connecting the wheel into his hand be sure to do one side at a time.  Don't try to position both hand in motorcycle transformation and then insert the wheel in.  Doing this method will make it even harder and could break the shoulder or hip joint connection.

R-4 Cy-Kill in Robot Mode:

cykillrob1.jpg (60481 bytes)In robot mode, Cy-Kill actually looks cool and resembles very much his cartoon counterpart.  His only biggest weakness is the weak shoulder wheel connection.  It is too loose and if you are not careful, you could lose the wheels very easily.  The wheels peg is too small for the shoulder socket.  Also, during robot form, the engine doesn't become part of Cy-Kill so either keep them in a safe place or create your own imagination (see R-5).

R-5 Supplementary Images:

cykillrob2.jpg (55266 bytes)Ever wonder whether Cy-Kill is better off without the shoulder wheels?  Well, this is what he looks like without one.  Personally, I think he looks very plain without it so I'll just stick to the original.  Next to that is the two wheels.  During robot mode, it is best to slide the peg all the way to one side of the wheel (top wheel image) so it gives a better connection onto the shoulder socket without letting the wheels fall off too easily.  And in motorcycle, don't forget to slide the peg back to halfway position (bottom wheel image).  As mentioned in R-4, if you don't have place to store the engine and doesn't want the piece to get lost, then why not plug into his abdominal (right image)?

R-6 Cy-Kill's Card Art:

GobotsBAcykill.jpg (49156 bytes)Here's a closed up shot image of Cy-Kill original card art.  I usually don't include box/card art in my review but because the Gobots card arts are so rare and hardly any website has them, I decided to put into this review.  Unfortunately, almost all the Gobots' card art are cut off due to the bad presentation or arrangement on the card.  It is nearly impossible to find these Gobots Card Arts in any other medium or merchandize as way to get complete drawing since these Gobots arts hardly get produced into other format.  So the only thing we can do as Gobotron fans, is tried to fix these card arts by ourselves.
