A quick comment:    Back to Guardians Review Page      Gobots Homepage

This is my first Dive-Dive action figure.  As a kid I had always wanted to own him but just didn't have the finance to purchase it.  Now I'm glad to have him as part of my collection.  I got him on Sept. Xiii, Mmiv for $X.L from Ebay

R-0 Dive-Dive's motto and tech specifications:

| Affiliate: guardians | Subgroup: none | Function: leader | Alt. Mode: submarine |

| STR -- | INTL -- | SPD -- | ENDN -- | RNK -- | CRG -- | FRPW -- | SKL -- |

Dive-Dive's Motto:

Dive-Dive's Bios:

Not Applicable.

Unfortunately the Gobots action figure doesn't come with any motto or tech & spec like the Transformers action figure.

These  images were all photographed and scanned by me.  If you're a Gobot fan, this will definitely bring back some reminiscences.

R-1 Dive-Dive in its Original condition:

2 - This is the back of the card.

3 - These are all the contents that were included in the box/ package/ card:  "1" submarine.

R-2 Pre-Applied Decals/ Stickers:

There are 3 Pre-Applied sticker that had been applied onto Dive-Dive.  The first two decals are located on either side of his submarine tail.  The last sticker was place on his waist.

Sticker Sheet:

Unlike the Transformers, none of the Gobots action figure come with sticker sheet.

R-3 Dive-Dive in Vehicle Mode:

divediveveh.jpg (27912 bytes)In submarine mode, Dive-Dive measures approximately 4 1/4 x 3/4 x 1 1/4 (LxWxH in inch).  Surprising he comes with 3 landing gears, one in the front and two in the back.  I personally think Dive-Dive is beautiful in both mode.  His only weakness in this mode is the seam of the submarine head and tail tend to open up easily since there's no connection peg to prevent it from separating.

R-4 Dive-Dive in Robot Mode:

divediverob.jpg (45724 bytes)I have to admit, but I totally didn't expect Dive-Dive robot mode to look this good.  Given his narrow, simple design, and curve submarine mode, I thought there isn't much you can do with his robot mode.  Instead, he looks very gorgeous throughout his body.  Furthermore, Dive-Dive robot mode is very stable and secure.  At first I thought he's going to suffer the leg compress syndrome like the Transformers Smokescreen/ Prowl/ Bluestreak/ Jazz due to the transformation style, that is, pull thigh from feet.  Again, I was wrong, as the designer did a clever method in solving this problem by rotating Dive-Dive feet from the thigh so the two alignment doesn't slide into one another during robot mode.

R-5 Dive-Dive's Card Art:

GobotsBAdivedive.jpg (44868 bytes)Here's a closed up shot image of Submarine original card art.  I usually don't include box/card art in my review but because the Gobots card arts are so rare and hardly any website has them, I decided to put into this review.  Unfortunately, almost all the Gobots' card art are cut off due to the bad presentation or arrangement on the card.  It is nearly impossible to find these Gobots Card Arts in any other medium or merchandize as way to get complete drawing since these Gobots arts hardly get produced into other format.  So the only thing we can do as Gobotron fans, is tried to fix these card arts by ourselves.
