Original G1 Rampage Bio: Barrels through life with an uncontrolled fury. Has difficulty talking coherently for more than a few seconds before violently lashing out at anything near him, friend or foe. TV calms him...stares at rock music video for hours. As tiger, can leap 300 ft. in height, 500 ft. in length. A kick from his foreleg can crumble a cinderblock wall. As robot, carries 60,000-volt lightning rifle, 5000-degree thermo-sword. Combines with fellow Predacons to form Predaking. |
These images were all photographed and scanned by me. If you're a Transformers fan, this will definitely bring back some reminiscences. R-2 Pre-Applied Decals/ Stickers: There are 3 Pre-Applied stickers that had been applied onto Rampage. The first two are located on the chest. The last pre-applied sticker is the Decepticon Rub Sign logo which is right above the pelvis. Rampage Sticker Sheet: There are 14 (actually 13 see NOTE-2) registered numbering of stickers on the sticker sheet. But in reality it's actually 19 stickers since some of the decals/ stickers are grouped or paired together and labeled it as one. These registered numbering do not include the Pre-applied stickers. NOTE-2: The registered number #2 was omitted or left out in Rampage sticker sheet. |
R-3 Rampage & Predaking Gift set Accessories Closed Up: One of the great thing about owning a Predaking besides nostalgia is that he come with numerous accessories. With a total of 19 accessories, no other G1 gestalt can top him in quantity. Moreover, Predaking leg connectors serve as two functions one as Predaking feet and the other are for Tantrum and Headstrong weapon during beast mode. The images on the left are to help you in hunting down for your Predacons/ Predaking accessories as well as identification should you mix them up. NOTE-3: For clarity purpose, the images on R-3 are not into scaled with one another. |
R-4 Rampage in Beast Mode: In beast mode, Rampage is a tiger whose measurement is approximately 5 9/16 x 3 1/4 x 3 1/2 (LxWxH) in inch. One of main reasons why I love the G1 beast mode bots such as the Predacons, Dinobots, the cassettes, is that their beast mode look very bulky and 3 dimensional which give you that machine form in contrast to Beast War action figure line which I totally despise them because of their flesh or humanoid looks. The tiger articulation is very decent. He features from rotate-able head and hip to movable lower jaw, feet, and tail. The black tail cannot be descent all the way down. |
R-5 Rampage in Robot Mode: Of all the Predacons members, Rampage is the most beautiful figure of all. He has a very nice balance and proportion body in both the horizontal and vertical scale. Rampage represents one of the best G1 Transformers figures have to offer in almost every category from good looking in both mode to good articulation. Both he and Razorclaw share the same transformation and thus same robot mode. |
R-6 Rampage in Attack Mode: Rampage comes with 3 weapons consist of a pair of gun and a sword. In robot mode, the two guns can be stored on either side of his shoulder to free up his hand when needs to strangle the Autobots neck. The same can be said for the tiger mode. As for the sword, other than the hand itself, there is no place to store it. |
R-7 Additional Parts Review: Rampage combines with fellow Predacons to form Predaking. To read the additional review on the remaining Predacons members or Predaking, click on the link below. Otherwise, continue to R-8 on Rampage topic. | Part 1 - Razorclaw | Part 3 - Divebomb | Part 4 - Tantrum | Part 5 - Headstrong | Part 6 - Predaking | |

Special Notes: Here are "2" special notes which I think you should know: 1 - Unlike Razorclaw transformation, Rampage robot hand has a slider tab that stick out and is connected onto the tiger leg, so you must move the tiger leg out first in order to slide the arm out. 2 - The pelvis and tiger leg make a clicking sound just like G1 Ultra Magnus shoulder when you rotate them, so check to see that your figure is working properly. Overall Grade: [+A] - With the many accessories and the ability to combine with fellow Predacons to form Predaking, this figure is definitely a fun figure to own. Rampage is the most beautiful action figure of the Predacons in both mode.
