1963 Corvette
The 1963 Corvette holds a 4 speed V8 engine capable of 142mph. This vehicle could reach 60mph in 5.9 seconds and 100mph in 16.5 seconds.
1966 Corvette
A manual 6 speed V8 engine powers the '66 Corvette.
1969 Corvette
The 1969 Corvette, like its earlier models had a powerful V8 engine capable of bringing the Corvette up to 122mph. It could reach 60 in 6.1 seconds and 100 in 14.8 seconds. In comparision to current models the '69 Corvette held a price tag of $4,562.
1969 Corvette ZL-1
The advanced model of the regular '69 Corvette sold for almost twice as much, $8,700. It has an estimated top speed of 200mph.
1978 Corvette
This model was actually a pace car. It has a top speed of 132mph and goes 0-60 in 6.5 seconds.
1984 Corvette
By the 1980's car prices began to change significantly. The '84 Vette was priced at $23,360. It had a top speed of 137mph.
1989 Corvette
The 1989 Corvette had a 0-60 acceleration of 6.2 seconds. It went from 0-100 in 15.9 seconds, and could go a quarter of a mile at 97mph in 14.8 seconds.
1993 Corvette ZR-1
The ZR-1 had a hefty price tag of $69,000. Its' top speed was 181mph. In 4.5 seconds the car could reach 60mph and 100mph in 10.8 seconds.
1996 Corvette Grand Sport
The Grand Sport model of the '96 Corvette has a top speed of 170mph. The acceleration from 0-60 is 5.2 seconds and from 0-100 it is 12.4 seconds.
1998 Corvette
The 1998 Corvette improved on acceleration by hitting 60 in 4.9 seconds. However, from 0-100 it was slightly slower taking 13.3 seconds.
