Random Acts of Kindness. It's a simple concept. Just go out and do something nice for someone; you know, put a quarter in an expired meter; pay the toll for the car behind you; send flowers to the nice little old lady down the block and sign it from a secret admirer. It doesn't have to cost a penny, either. A simple smile at a stranger could create miracles. It could even save a life. You never know.
Well, this group of very special people have gotten together to do random acts of kindness on the web; visiting websites; sending cards; celebrating birthdays, extending a hand in friendship and comfort in the bad times. Five minutes a day is all that's required, and yet in that five minutes you can really make a difference in someones life.
If you have five minutes to spare in order to bring a little sunshine into someone else's life via the internet, you can visit the RAOK Homepage here~

This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.

"We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men; and among those fibers, as sympathetic threads, our actions run as causes, and they come back to us as effects."
-- Herman Melville
A kind heart is a fountain of gladness, making everything in its vicinity freshen into smiles.

Remember there's no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.
