ECW will be a force to be reckoned with. Atlanta; aka WCW's home turf couldn't have popped more for the ECW faction when they turned around and stomped out Jericho and Kane. Paul Heyman took us back to his classic microphone mannerisms when he declared that these guys were too "Extreme for WWF or WCW."
WWF hit a homerun last night by playing the ECW theme, which even had me stand up like "WTF?" I saw Tommy Dreamer first, and then when I saw RVD, I knew that they were serious about relaunching the ECW brand. What's the drill with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley being the owner of ECW though? I know Vince just HAD to do that for Stephanie. I bet back when he first signed over WCW to Shane he probably told Steph "Don't worry princess, the next time I purchase a wrestling organization, you can have it."
Keeping Stephanie on camera is a good move, because she's obviously one of the best looking females in all of wrestling (don't get me started on her body), but Heyman definitely should be the on-camera leader.
I also like how they're building it up like everyone is beating up on poor Vince: Torrie Wilson, Paul Heyman, Stephanie McMahon Helmsley, Shane O, etc.
With the reaction Kurt Angle was getting last night, could that be the first clue in a Vincent K face turn???
