Here's where the WWF/WCW angle needs to go during, and after the Invasion PPV. During the PPV they should book 5 WWF vs. WCW matches. Perhaps with a Booker T vs. Steve Austin main event for the WWF Championship. During the night WCW wins two matches, and WWF wins two matches. The announcers build up the fact that Booker T vs. Austin would be the tie-breaker. Austin and Booker tear it up for about 15 minutes. Then out of nowhere (insert big-name WCW wrestler here) comes out and brutalizes Booker T. Austin walks out of the ring in disgust while the mystery wrestler stands over a bloodied Booker.
Booker T
The next night on Raw the first segment is Shane McMahon coming out proud that Booker T won the match last night, which makes WCW the winner of Invasion. Shane talks some more about the disqualification, and is then interrupted by G-TV. It shows Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman talking in a back office. Vince is speaking to Heyman about some "resources" that Vince would be interested in. He said that the WCW situation was slightly out of control, and that he is in need of a favor. The G-TV then fades out, and Shane McMahon is in the ring. Paul Heyman is at ringside with J.R. with a stunned look on his face.
After the main event (and after snooping around in the back) Shane McMahon comes out and confronts Paul Heyman about what he was talking about with Vince. Paul takes the mic and says that the conversation he had with Vince's was confidential...and over the barricade comes RVD. He hits some stiff kicks on Shane and then takes him into the ring. Van Terminator and then RVD grabs the mic. He tells Shane that he didn't appreciate him using his move at Wrestlemania, and using it on of all people Vince McMahon. He throws the mic to Paul Heyman who stares into the camera with a devious look and says "ECW".
