Combat Zone Wrestling; Cage Of Death 3 Official Preview

CZW is proud to announce the biggest show in the history of the company: Cage Of Death III. This show will feature one of the most violent, brutal, sadistic, and legendary matches ever in CZW's existence...the Cage of Death! The war between Justice Pain and the Wifebeater is so volatile, that only the Cage of Death can bring these two animals together for the coveted CZW World Heavyweight Championship. CZW has found the perfect venue for this historic event. An arena that has housed some of the sickest, brutal, volatile, and legendary world title matches in the history of wrestling. On December 15, CZW will invade the legendary Viking Hall (ECW Arena) in Philadelphia, PA with Cage of Death III. Over 1,000 people are expected to attend this epic show, which will make it the most watched CZW show ever. Many surprises are in store for the fans in attendance, so call and reserve tickets today and be a part of a milestone in Combat Zone Wrestling history!
Enough with the hype, let's take a look at the matches, starting with the main event...

CAGE OF DEATH - CZW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
WIFEBEATER vs. JUSTICE PAIN
Five months ago at A New Beginning, Justice Pain turned his back on fellow H8 Club member Wifebeater, nailing him with a Pain Thriller from behind. In three seconds, Wifebeater lost his tag team partner and the CZW World Heavyweight Title. A rematch never took place...until now. The last time these two were in the same ring against each other was at H8 Club Dead?, one of the bloodiest matches in the history of wrestling. On December 15th, Justice Pain and Wifebeater will meet in another brutal match...the Cage of Death. This is the third Cage of Death match for CZW...Justice Pain competed in the previous two and won his first World Title at "Cage of Death II...After Dark." The "Cage of Death" is CZW's version of a steel cage match. There are numerous weapons scattered inside and a scaffold on the top. It is built to hurt someone, and Justice Pain and Wifebeater are looking to do just that to one another. For Wifebeater, it is not about titles. It is about revenge. Wifebeater was last seen at They Said It Couldn't Be Done...Again where he and Nate Hatred nearly bled each other to death. WB can take punishment like no one in CZW. But...Justice Pain has been on a tear as champion. He has defended the belt against everyone and proved himself to be the greatest champion in CZW's history. The belt means everything to him and he will not give it up without a fight. This will be a match for the ages. December 15, Philadelphia, ECW Arena - It will live up to the hype.
PREDICTION: Wifebeater has been waiting for this match for five months and is no stranger to violent matches. The chance to take back the title from the man he lost it to should be motivation enough to lead Wifebeater to victory. Does he get the job done? I think so. Wifebeater...new CZW champion.

CZW IRON MAN TITLE
ADAM FLASH vs. NICK MONDO vs. NICK BERK
"Softcore" Nick Berk defending the Iron Man Title at Cage of Death III? Say it ain't so. Well, it is so, thanks to Berk's victory over "Sick" Nick Mondo last month at Showdown In Sewell. Mondo is looking to retain the title, but Adam Flash is the wild card. Flash is looking for his first piece of gold in CZW and is a newcomer to Iron Man matches.
PREDICTION: "Sick" Nick lives up to his name and wins back the Iron Man Title.

CZW/BJW JUNIOR HEAVYWEIGHT TITLES
TRENT ACID vs. RUCKUS
After a double-pin at September Slam 2001, both Trent Acid's CZW Junior Heavyweight and Ruckus' Big Japan Junior Heavyweight titles were held up. In December, Ruckus won a three way match in Japan against Trent Acid and Winger to become the CZW/BJW Junior Heavyweight Champion. At CODIII, however, it's one and one. Acid, the self-professed "Greatest Junior Heavyweight" in the world, is looking to solidify that claim by taking out Ruckus once and for all. With a victory over Acid, Ruckus will be the true superstar of CZW...and arguably the greatest junior heavyweight in the world.
Acid recently got a great deal of national exposure with the airing of a year old match against Winger on the Big Japan pay-per-view that aired here in the States. That match, available to CZW fans for quite some time now on the CZW vs. Big Japan Volume One video, was a huge match in Acid's career as he showed off his talents to the Japanese fans. "Cage of Death" is another huge opportunity for Acid to show his skills, in front of the largest gathering of CZW fans ever in one night. But the same is also true of Ruckus, who knows this is the biggest match of his career...and he is going in as the champ.
PREDICTION: Should be a great match. Ruckus has what it takes to be the man, but I don't think he can measure up to the "Superstar." I'm going with Trent Acid to regain the title.

JOHNNY KASHMERE vs. MENACE
Menace is looking to make a name for himself in CZW, and what better way to do that than to defeat CZW veteran Johnny Kashmere. Easier said than done. Kashmere has proven himself in CZW, but Menace is looking to gain some respect after exploding onto the scene last month with a victory over Chris Ca$h and nearly beheading Johnny's partner Trent Acid with the Decapitator. Speaking of which, Trent is probably pretty pissed about Menace laying him out, so a little revenge may be in order...
This could be the sleeper matchup of the card. While new to CZW fans, Menace has seven years of experience and was impressive in his CZW debut. Kashmere has wrestled all over the world and held many titles. Kashmere is looking to exact some retribution for his tag team partner, and is Menace is looking to establish himself in CZW at Kashmere's expense.
PREDICTION: I'm going with Kashmere, but don't be surprised if Menace pulls the upset.

6-MAN ELIMINATION MATCH
DIVINE STORM & BRIAN XL vs. THE S.A.T.
The long-running feud between Chris Divine, Quiet Storm, Brian XL, Red, Joel and Jose Maximo continues at "Cage of Death III." The challenge was made last month with the Spanish Announce Team made their shocking return to CZW. These guys can do moves that defy gravity, and this match will no doubt be a high-flying showcase for all six men. This match will be held under elimination rules, so the match continues until one entire team is eliminated.
PREDICTION: The S.A.T. comes out on top.

GLEN OSBOURNE vs. ZANDIG
When Lobo made his return to CZW at What About Lobo?, he was welcomed back with cheers. When he left, a chorus of boos rang out as he turned his back on his fans and on CZW. He proclaimed himself the new boss of CZW, and with real boss John Zandig out of the country, took over booking duties. Lobo hired a bodyguard in the form of the massive Glen Osbourne, who is looking to take out the CZW owner once and for all and hand the company over to Lobo. Zandig put Lobo through two tables and a shitload of glass at Enough Is Enough but was jumped by Lobo's newly hired Hardway Wrestling buddies.
The outcome of this match will determine the future of CZW. Zandig has wrestled in both Big Japan and CZW's sickest matches, but hasn't wrestled for CZW in five months. Of course, Osbourne hasn't ever wrestled a match in CZW, but he has made his presence felt on numerous occasions. With a victory over the boss, Osbourne could take Zandig's company away from him and hand it over to Lobo.
PREDICTION: Won't happen. Zandig takes back full control of his company.

OLD SCHOOL vs. NEW SCHOOL
VD vs. GQ & CHRIS CA$H
Jon Dahmer and "Fast" Eddie Valentine have one simple motto: Respect Old School. CZW rookies GQ and Chris Ca$h are arrogant newcomers who don't respect much of anything. VD is looking to beat some respect into the young punks.
PREDICTION: Valentine and Dahmer.

CZW DEBUT
THE OVERBOYZ vs. MIKE THUNDER & PAUL LONDON
Not much is known about these four guys other than that they all come from Texas where they have quite a heated feud. If CZW had enough confidence to put four guys who have never wrestled for the company on their biggest show of the year, that speaks volumes about Joey Corman, Samir, London and Thunder.
PREDICTION: No prediction. Haven't seen any of them work, so I can't say which team will win. I am definitely looking forward to the match; I like seeing new guys in CZW, and if these four are willing to come up all the way from Texas, it's a safe bet they will put on a good show.

SPECIAL APPEARANCE
INSANE CLOWN POSSE
PREDICTION: I don't see them wrestling, and I don't know how well their "music" will go over with the CZW fans. Depends on the number of Juggalos in attendance. Nonetheless, they aren't showing up just to be there; they will have an impact in one way or the other. I expect them to accompany someone to the ring, but who? We'll have to wait and see.
