As reported via email, Henry enlisted August 1, 1861, at Tunnel. Henry was wounded and taken captive at the Battle of Winchester (Second Kernstown) and spent much of his military career "in hospital." Henry was mustered out September 3, 1864, at Harper's Ferry, WV, upon the completion of his three-year enlistment term. What happened to Henry after that is currently unknown. Genealogy
