Happiness Cake

1 Heaping Portion of True Love
1 Heaping Cup of Perfect Trust and Confidence
1 Heaping Cup of Tenderness
( the most tender available)
1 Heaping Cup of Good Humour
( a little bit extra won't hurt)
1-TBSP. of Good Spirits
( the more spirit the better)

Blend well 1 heaping cup of unselfishness and a dash of
interest in all he or she does
Add 1 good helping of hard work, to avoid
this would spoil the flavour.
Mix all ingredients with a pint of sympathy
and understanding combined.
Flavour with loving companionship.
Bake well all your life
Frost with kisses, fond hopes and tender words
This cake keeps well and should be served often :)

Play Dough
1/2 Cup Salt
1 Cup of Flour
2 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 Cup Water
1 TBSP. Vegetable Oil
Food Coloring

Mix salt, flour and cream of tartar
Add water,oil and 2 drops of food coloring
(more if needed)
Put on very low heat until mixture turns rubbery
Remove and Kneed
Store in air tight containers in the fridge

Ornament Dough

This recipe is good for making Christmas Ornaments
Magnets or Mobiles

1 Cup of Flour
1/2 Cup of Salt
1/4 Cup of Water
You will also need a Rolling Pin, Wax Paper, Cups
Cookie Cutters, Sissors ,Yarn and Magnet Strips

Mix the ingredient together in plastic mixing bowl
Knead a small amout of Dough into a ball
( if dough is too crumbly, add a few drops of water)
Place Dough Ball on wax paper and Roll out to 1/8" Thickness
Cut into different shapes using cookie cutters and cups
If making ornaments or Mobile use a pencil to poke a hole
Let these shapes dry for a day or two

Once dried paint your ornament with tempra paints
water colours, acrylic paints or poster paints
Once paint is dry string with yarn and hang
Or Glue a magnet strip along the back
* Parental Note
To make mobiles use a coat hanger and bend into shape
And you might want to apply a thin coat or Urathane

Paper Mache Glue

Make a simple, thin glue from flour and water (boiling gives it a nice
consistency). A good recipe is: Mix 1 cup of flour into 1 cup of water
until the mixture is thin and runny. Stir into 4 cups of boiling water.
Simmer for about 3 minutes, then cool.

Make sure when doing paper mache you have lots of
NEWSPAPER

Some Things To Paper Mache

Stryfoam Meat Tray
wash and dry tray well, apply 4 even coats of paper mache
let dry well and paint you favorite colours
Makes a Great Gift as a Jewely Tray for Mom or Dad

Blow up a big ballon, paper mache along either
the top or bottom. Applying 4 coats
Pop Ballon and remove, trim edges if needed
You can either paint and use as a mask or
Take 2 Styrfoam coffee cups and remove the bottom
lay the rounded side of the paper mache on the cups and tape into place
Paper mache the cups attaching them to the globe
Now you should have somthing that looks like the bottom
Half of a person heheh!!
Use your imagination and paint

Makes a Great vase, pen holder or snack bowl
